Agile Converters - Remote Mount
The P7000 range of Remote Mounted agile converters are the latest generation of fully synthesised Up and Downconverters, which provide a low-cost solution for systems requiring an IF interface at 70MHz +/-20MHz or 140MHz +/-40MHz and conversion to/from L-Band frequencies.
These rugged, remote mounted units are designed to be fitted close to the antenna and can be controlled via remote control from either an integrated PC based M&C system or from a rack mounted control panel (available from Peak Communications).
The P7000series have an integral redundancy control feature for 1+1 & 2+1 operation and complimentary remote mounted redundancy switch units are also available.
The P7000 range of converters units are designed to meet the phase noise, spurious, level and frequency stability requirements of Intelsat IBS/Eutelsat SMS specifications and are compliant with IESS 309 and IESS 306. The group delay response makes the products suitable for high rate data and both digital and analogue TV signals. Also providing excellent performance using higher modulation schemes i.e. 8PSK and 16QAM.
