P7021
P7021 Fully synthesised S-band to IF DownConverter
Peak Communications was formed in 1995 and began by manufacturing the P701 L band frequency downconverter. The addition of the Upconverter module in 1996 enabled Peak Communications to produce the P702 L band upconverter and then also the P700 L band Up/Down converter in a single 1RU. Over time the product range has increased to include 19" rack mount and remote mount block up and down converters covering the main satellite operating frequencies including X, C and Ku Bands. The integration of these block converters into a P700 converter facilitated full frequency conversion from IF to SHF via L band. In 2003 the P7000 range of converters was launched to supersed the P700 range.

The P7021 is a next generation fully synthesised S-Band DownConverter which provides a low-cost solution for systems requiring an IF interface at 70MHz *18MHz or 140MHz *36MHz. The unit incorporates a graphics display module, membrane keypad and features a clear and intuitive control and configuration menu fully utilising the unique graphics display. The P7021 has an integral redundancy controller for 1:1 & 1:2 operation, and a CANBUSŪ interface for 1:N systems.
The P7000 Series of converters are designed to meet the phase noise, spurious, level and frequency stability requirements of Intelsat IBS/ Eutelsat SMS specifications and are compliant with IESS 308/ 309. The products are most suitable for both high and low rate data and both digital and analogue TV signals.
